Union Minister Prakash Javadekar, while briefing the cabinet on the decision, said that before Dussehra or Durga Puja, a bonus of Rs 3,737 crore would be paid to 30 lakh central government employees.
New Delhi: The Modi government has done what the central employees had been waiting for. The Union Cabinet has approved productivity and non-productivity linked bonuses for the financial year 2019-20. The government's announcement will benefit 30 lakh 67 thousand non-gazetted government officials and employees. The bonus will be credited directly to the employee's account.

The Union Cabinet has taken a big decision regarding Jammu and Kashmir. Accordingly, the Jammu and Kashmir Panchayati Raj Act, 1989 has been approved. Although many welfare laws were in place in India, they were not enforced in Jammu and Kashmir. This decision today will benefit the people of Chhewada.
