A fire broke out in a city bus near Mahavir College in Surat city. However, the bus driver's punctuality saved 10 passengers. A fire department convoy rushed to the scene and the fire was contained within minutes.

According to the fire department, Citylink's CNG city bus was passing by Bhagwan Mahavir College. Meanwhile, the bus caught fire due to a sudden spark in the battery. So the driver stopped the bus and unloaded 10 passengers in the morning. However, as time went on, things took a turn for the worse. The fire department was then notified. No casualties were reported in the incident.
The fire was contained within minutes of the count
The fire was reported to the fire department and a convoy of fire department personnel including Harish Gadhvi and Prakash Patel reached the spot. A firefighter with a firefighter and a tanker managed to contain the blaze within minutes. However, the bus was gutted by the fire.
