Prime Minister Narendra Modi is scheduled to inaugurate 3 major projects of Gujarat through video conference on October 24. He will launch 'Kisan Suryoday Yojana' for the farmers of Gujarat. The Prime Minister will also inaugurate a ropeway project in Girnar on the occasion while inaugurating a mobile application for Pediatric Heart Hospital and Telecardiology along with UN Mehta Institute of Cardiology and Research Center at Civil Hospital, Ahmedabad.

The farmer will be able to get electricity from 5 am to 9 pm

Allocated a budget of Rs. 3500 crore for ‘Kisan Suryodaya Yojana’

The remaining districts will be covered in phases in 2022-23

‘Kisan Suryodaya Yojana’ - The Gujarat Government under the leadership of Chief Minister Vijay Rupani has recently announced ‘Kisan Suryodaya Yojana’ to provide daytime electricity for irrigation. Under this scheme, the farmer can get electricity from 5 am to 9 pm. The state government has allocated a budget of Rs 3,500 crore to set up infrastructure under the scheme by 2023.

The scheme covers Dahod, Patan, Mahisagar, Panchmahal, Chhota Udepur, Tapi, Valsad, Kheda, Anand and Gir Somnath in 2020-21. The remaining districts will be covered in phases in 2022-23.

A mobile application for telecardiology- PM will inaugurate Pediatric Heart Hospital at Civil Hospital along with UN Mehta Institute of Cardiology and Research Center. As well as launching a telecardiology mobile app in civil. The UN Mehta Institute of Cardiology has been developed at a cost of Rs 470 crore. The number of beds has been increased from 450 to 1251.

 This will be one of the largest super specialty cardiac hospitals in the world. The buildings are equipped with earthquake resistant system as well as fire hydrant system and fire mist system. There will also be 14 operation theater centers and 7 cardiac catheterization labs.

Girnar Ropeway Inauguration- The ropeway in Girnar will be inaugurated by the PM. It can seat 8 people. Which is capable of covering 25-30 cabins and a distance of 2.3 kilometers in 7.5 minutes.
